How to differentiate between Boeing B737 and Airbus A320

1. You can look at the cockpit glass.

The corners of the Airbus cockpit glass are relatively round, while the corners of the Boeing cockpit glass can be seen as a V, which has a certain angle.

2. Look at the engine.

The engine of the Boeing 737 is relatively flat, as if it has been run over by a roller. This is because the Boeing 737 series was born in 1964. The early models of the Boeing 737, the 737-100, had slender engines at that time. Therefore, the landing gear was not as long as designed. At that time, there was enough clearance between the bottom of the engine and the runway. But later, the engines were taller than the other, and the clearance for the engines on the runway was no longer enough to accommodate the large engines. In addition, with the birth of the Airbus A320, Boeing also has to be able to avoid replacing engines with high bypass ratios. Boeing's designers couldn't lengthen the landing gear, but they thought of flattening the engine, wouldn't it be enough? This engine was used when the Boeing 737-300 was developed, and now it has become a method of comparison with the A320.

3.Look at the landing gear.

Because of the engine, when Boeing was designing the 737, the landing gear was relatively short. In comparison, the landing gear of the Airbus 320 will be longer than that of the 737. So how do you tell the difference between planes flying into the sky? You can see the landing gear bay. The landing gear bay of the Boeing 737 is not completely enclosed, but the wheels leak out. When the landing gear of the 320 is retracted, the entire landing gear will be wrapped in the landing gear bay.
