It adopts a new generation of advanced electronic control Cummins QSX15 TDI (turbocharged/direct injection) water-cooled engine subject to the Tier 3 (Euro-Ⅲ) emission standard, able to achieve higher output power and lower fuel consumption. The three-stage filtration mode well-designed to adapt to the domestic oil quality has improved the reliability of the engine under harsh conditions; the heat balance system of this machine adopted a completely independent cooling system with the radiator and oil cooler placed in parallel domestically for the first time to control the water and hydraulic oil temperature within an ideal range and thus achieve optimization of the complete power and fuel use. Besides, the heavy-load excavation and mining demands can be satisfied by virtue of the well-designed reinforced backhoe working mechanism as well as the split-type frame, the central bearing sprocket, the pressure pin crawler assembly and the lower solid walking mechanism completely protected by crawlers. The well-designed rear detachable counterweight, central service access and separated side access, as well as the independent power and pump chambers, can more safely facilitate detachment, transportation, transferring, service and maintenance. The FOPS-certificated spacious cab and the control unit in line with the ergonomics design concept can provide operators with excellent vision and thus ensure the maximum safety, comfortableness and controllability.
